Eighth-generation Georgian, Daniel Bland, joined EXP Realty after an award-winning sales career in multiple industries.  Daniel was born in Athens, raised in Griffin, and attended the University of Georgia before volunteering to join the U.S. Army just two months after September 11, 2001.  Daniel served eight months in Iraq and now resides in North Atlanta with his gorgeous Irish Setter, Georgia. 


After completing his military service, Daniel received a copy of Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad in the mail from one of his best friends, a book Daniel says is the second most influential he’s ever read with the Holy Bible taking the top spot.  Daniel followed Rich Dad’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and real estate professionals of beginning their career in the copier industry to best learn how to sell and negotiate by earning his Ph.D. in copier sales over an eight-year award-winning career with Lanier Worldwide and their acquirer, Ricoh Business Solutions.  He attributes his success to learning to ask good questions and actively listen so he can best help his business partners solve problems and accomplish their objectives.


The wisdom gained from Daniel’s two favorite books led him to accomplish his goal of being a serial entrepreneur and real estate investor.  In addition to owning a group fitness gym, Daniel also focuses on Short-Term Rental acquisitions and management as an AirBnB Super Host.  He remembered Rich Dad stressing the importance of acquiring income-generating assets and discovered he could generate 2-3x the monthly mortgage on his home while he lives there full-time.
